#27: Pivoting from Resignation to Determination

In this week’s episode we address what it looks like for him to pivot from resignation to determination.

Resignation is a big part of what men grapple with (and women, too) - and it’s HARD to work through. We talk about what resignation is and looks like, the difference between resignation and surrender, and then we start to throw out words like internal and external locus of control AND task versus process orientation - which might make some of your heads spin.

But don’t resign (haha!) yourself to not understanding these big words - we hash it out (it gets a little tense) and you will be able to hear me (Shelley) trying to connect dots very, very slowly. It’s rather comical.

Bottom line:  the focus needs to be on the process versus the outcome.  We are responsible for the process and God is responsible for the outcome.
