I’m Shelley, and I’ve been there.

Meet Shelley Martinkus

founder, speaker, author,
group facilitator, & 1:1 coach

Shelley walked through the unthinkable just three years into her marriage. The love of her life, the one man that she thought would protect her at every turn, was living a separate life filled with sexual integrity issues, addiction, and deceit. After several years of Shelley standing up for herself, healing work, and massive change on her husband's part, Shelley chose to stay married to Jason, as they continued to heal together. They built a life together in Denver, CO, where they currently reside and raise their three boys.

Shelley has been helping women heal from betrayal for two decades as a coach, group leader, mentor, author, and speaker. She has authored a couple of books, including Rescued and Understanding and Loving a Person with Sexual Addiction. Jason, her husband, co-authored the best-selling book Worthy of Her Trust. Shelley holds a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy, which provides her with a unique understanding of the somatic and neurophysiological work that helps the women she works with heal from the trauma of betrayal.

Shelley and Jason are the founders of Redemptive Living and Redemptive Living for Women - organizations dedicated to helping men (heal from integrity issues), women (heal from betrayal), and couples (find redemption beyond betrayal). Their team of approximately 20 offers coaching, support groups, masterclasses, and in-person events, including women's and men's retreats and the She Heals Conference.

They are also the hosts of Redemptive Living Radio, a podcast for couples seeking hope and redemption after sexual betrayal, with just shy of half a million downloads.

It is possible to heal from betrayal. My biggest fear was that this would take me out. And it did not.

Healing is possible, and it’s worth doing whatever it takes to get there.  Life can and will be fun again, with joy, hope, laughter and peace!

Meet the team:

In the last 5-6 years, we have grown into a team of approximately 12 women coaches and therapists equipped to help others heal from the devastation of betrayal with hope, levity, and strength.  Not taking ownership of his choices, not settling for less, and pursuing whole healing, whether the marriage survives or ends.
